Meet the Doctors of Westwood Dental Group

Our Westwood Dental Group of doctors are highly skilled, extensively trained professionals with the common goal of keeping your teeth in great shape. We have a strong group of dentists, dental specialists, hygienists and dental assistants to ensure you get the best care possible.

Dr. David Humbargar is a 1963 graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Following Navy Service in California, he has been in private practice in Denver since 1966. He is the past president of the Jefferson County and Metropolitan Denver Dental societies. He has also been an instructor at the CU Dental School in the Prosthetic Department.	Dr. Thomas Nyvold received his dental degree from the University of Minnesota. He graduated from St. John's University in Minnesota and has been a partner with Westwood Dental Group since 1989.	Dr. Scott Greenhalgh received his dental degree from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and completed a residency at Saint Joseph Hospital. He is an instructor at the University of Colorado and Saint Joseph Hospital, while maintaining a private practice in Denver since 1991. Dr. Greenhalgh is a sustaining member of the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry.	Dr. Guy Grabiak graduated from the University Of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1990 after completing his undergraduate training at UCLA. He served nine years in the US Air Force. Dr. Grabiak has completed extensive training in advanced dental techniques and he is Invisalign certified. Dr Grabiak is member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Pankey Alumni.

Dr. Lowell Graves received his degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1965 and served his internship at the Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago in 1966. Following that, he received a fellowship in Oral Surgery from Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans in 1969. In 1993, Dr. Graves received his M.S.D. in Endodontics from Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Graves and his wife, Toni have three sons, Erik, Erin and Andrew. His hobbies include alpine and crosscountry skiing.

Dr. Gurinsky was born in Dallas, Texas and attended college at the University of Texas at Austin. He continued his education at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas where he attained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Following graduation, Dr. Gurinsky began a three-year residency in Periodontics and Dental Implants, on completion of which he earned his certificate in Periodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

As one of the few Board Certified Periodontists in Colorado, Dr. Gurinsky provides comprehensive periodontal care in a professional and caring atmosphere using the most up-to-date treatment methods. You can be assured that you will receive only the highest level of periodontal treatment.
